The United Tribal Countries Land Alliance (UTCLA) has been formally established as a voluntary alliance of self-governing Tribal Nations across Terra Australis.
Founding Nations
The Alliance brings together three founding Member Countries/Nations:
- Pintupi Wati Tjuta Tjungarinyi — Central Western Desert
- Ni'ripono Gwata Tu Sovereign Government — Cape York Region
- Majagi — Larrakia, Tiwi Island and Brinkin peoples
A New Chapter
The formation of the UTCLA represents a significant step toward strengthened cooperation between self-governing Indigenous Nations. Built upon the foundation of Tjukurpa (Law/Lore), the Alliance coordinates collective matters while respecting the full sovereignty of each Member Nation.
The Alliance governance model ensures equal male and female representation from each Member Country/Nation, with all collective decisions reached through consensus-based deliberation.
